About

It Started With a Trip.

Funny how a simple trip can turn into something bigger.

I was getting ready for a trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, and looking for outdoor apparel. There were plenty of brands out there, but something was missing. I couldn't find one that really connected with the things that mattered to me: community, health, travel, adventure, culture, and art.

So I started thinking. How dope would it be to create an outdoor lifestyle brand that brought all those things together?

Instead of waiting for somebody else to do it, I decided to give it a shot.

That's how Soul District Athletic Club came to life.

Born in Portland. Inspired by Everywhere.

Soul District Athletic Club is rooted in North and Northeast Portland, Oregon. It's where the idea began and where our connection to community runs deep.

The name says a lot about who we are.

Soul District represents our roots, culture, and the communities that inspire us.

Athletic is about staying active, taking care of ourselves, and making movement and wellness part of everyday life.

Club is about bringing people together, creating connections, and sharing experiences.

Put it all together, and you've got Soul District Athletic Club.

More Than Apparel.

We love a good T-shirt, a fresh hoodie, and gear that represents something meaningful. But SDAC was never meant to be just another clothing brand.

We're building something that connects people through outdoor adventure, travel, art, athletics, and culture.

You don't have to be an experienced hiker, a marathon runner, or somebody who lives at the gym to be part of this club.

Maybe your adventure is exploring a new city. Maybe it's hitting a trail, attending a community event, or just getting outside with friends and family.

Whatever it looks like, there's room for you.

The Journey Is Just Getting Started.

Our goal is simple: create apparel people are proud to wear, celebrate the communities that inspire us, and encourage everybody to get outside and experience something new.

We're going to keep exploring, creating, connecting, and having a little fun along the way.

And we hope you'll join us.

Outside belongs to all of us.
