It all started when…

I started looking for outdoor apparel for a trip to Vancouver B.C. and just came to the realization that there weren’t any brands that really resonated with me. Then I asked the question how many outdoor brands focus on things that are important to me, such as community, health, travel, adventure and art? How dope would it be if there was an outdoor brand that built connections based on those principles? So I said “F” it, I would try to create something. That’s where Soul District Athletic Club came to mind. Soul District is based in the North/Northeast side of Portland which is where the idea for the outdoor apparel company came about. The “athletic” in the title was to ensure that we always remain active focus on the health side and “club” represented the community or social aspect of the brand. Enough about the boring talk. My plan is to have fun with this brand and build a community that people will be proud to wear!
